What we do
Mining works with an engineer behind them
Spheroid Engineering Limited takes on contract mining and the specialist support works that keep underground excavations safe and productive.
Because the same company carries out underground support audits and excavation support design, the works we install are designed and checked by the geotechnical engineers who understand the ground conditions, rather than fitted to a generic pattern. Ground control, drilling and tunnelling, grouting and shotcrete are scoped together with the mine's own rock-engineering team.
On the process side we line ball mills with rubber and construct and install underground loading boxes, and we supply the pumps, parts and consumables that mining operations run on.
