Scope: geotechnical core logging, Lugeon (packer) water-pressure testing from the cofferdam piers ahead of the plunge-pool and spillway works, interpretation of results, and installation of vibrating-wire piezometers at Kariba North Bank.

Terms of reference, review of existing data and drill logs, site walk-over and a costed programme of works.

Drilling, SPT, trial pits, packer and pumping tests, geophysics, instrumentation and monitoring, all to recognised standards.

Laboratory testing, numerical modelling, stability and hydrological analysis, and engineering design.
