Construction with the investigation and design in-house
Spheroid Engineering Limited carries out civil and building construction and provides concrete quality assurance to clients who need an independent check on what their contractor pours.
Most construction problems start in the ground. Our advantage is that the site investigation and foundation design come from the same registered engineers who then follow the works on site, so the assumptions in the design are checked against what is actually excavated and placed.
Concrete quality assurance covers mix design review, sampling and testing, cover and placement checks, and reporting against the specification, so that structures are accepted on evidence rather than on trust.
